Healthy Youth Survey Results
The 2016 Healthy Youth Survey was administered to Dayton School District students, grades 6 – 12 in October. The surveys are administered in most schools in Washington State. The data will be collected and analyzed at the state level. Both statewide and local results will be available in the spring of 2017.
Why is this important to our community?
The Healthy Youth Survey provides valuable data to the school, community agencies, city and county government, and the Coalition for Youth and Families. The data is used to measure a wide variety of adolescent behaviors, measure local risk of youth use, amount of adolescent use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, and the perception of harm associated with using substances.
Over the next few months, the data received from the survey will be analyzed by the Coalition for Youth and Families and shared with the community. Look for the results to be published on this webpage, local print media, and social media. We always welcome your feedback.
